How to plan your day
Jun 18, 2022
Take a look at your calendar for tomorrow.
🚫What can you say no to?
🔻What can you delegate?
⭕️What can you shorten?
Reminder: There is freedom in saying no.
As women, we can especially struggle with saying no. We worry we will let others down, that they will think less of us, or it will mean we have failed. The result is that we are overwhelmed, stressed, exhausted, feel stretched too thin, are seen as a doormat, become resentful, and don’t show up as our best self.
There is freedom in saying no.
When you say no, we rarely face the backlash we thought we would. Instead, you focus on what is most important. You teach people that we have boundaries and priorities and act with intention. People respect that you know your own time is valuable and are intentional with how you spend it. People then place a higher value on their time with you. And when you are with them you are focused and in the moment, you aren’t scattered, you aren’t stressed. Instead you focus, build relationships, and you over-deliver value. You are seen as a leader. As a person who is in control of their lives, as a role who is in control of their lives, as a role model. There is power in saying no.
Are you ready to say no more? And say yes to balance and being more effective and present at the critical few things that really drive value?
